Computer processor company Arm wanted to raise its profile as an employer in the competitive digital sector, particularly in hard-to-fill engineering roles. The company has been growing quickly, and that means demand plans shift and therefore so does its hiring needs. ARM decided to use the Radancy Talent Cloud – an integrated, AI-driven platform that would simplify the talent acquisition journey for both candidates and hirers. This works across multiple platforms including programmatic ad-tech, social media and SEO. Arm improved its careers site to offer personalisation, location-specific landing pages, surveys and job widgets, all underpinned by a measurement dashboard to see return on investment.
Radancy and ARM launched a 12-month, platform driven campaign spanning the US, UK, France, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, India, Taiwan and Japan. In addition to better organic discoverability, a programmatic jobs campaign targeted active candidates searching for tech roles. AI distributed high-priority roles across locations, flexing to daily changing needs. Visibility was maximised across multiple job boards, and budget allocation was automated based on the volume of applications received in each country. Meanwhile, programmatic display banners targeted passive candidates based on targeting criteria, which increased brand awareness. Retargeting banners reached out to candidates who may have started but not completed an application, leading to higher conversion rates. Content with key messaging was also activated on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Reddit, driving candidates to a personalised career site experience.
The real-time insights and analytics platform reported impressions, clicks, apply clicks and applications. Candidate IDs were matched to attribute hires to specific tactics, while surveys on the career site helped measure candidate satisfaction and NPS and understand motivations for wanting to work at Arm, feeding into the content strategy. The CMS enabled Arm to add branded content post-launch based on this data, keeping the site relevant and fresh, also supporting SEO rankings. Advanced job descriptions presented key information about a role or division in a visual, engaging format, helping job seekers understand what makes a successful candidate. Overall, the campaign led to significant increases in applications and hires across core engineering roles, as well as boosting awareness of Arm as a brand. The measured and targeted approach will ensure a lasting impact on potential talent.
