Jewish Care is not just a healthcare charity but a haven where people can find their purpose. For this reason, it needed to attract extraordinary individuals who could support clients during tough times. Working with WeLove9am, the organisation brought together 80 staff members, at 80 filming locations, to capture 80 intimate moments and unique personalities.
The aim was not just to film employees’ faces, but to capture the values that make the charity special: acceptance, support, care, compassion and excellence. The Love: Everyday film showed that love is at the heart of everything they do, even small gestures such as making someone a cup of tea. The video showed actual employees sharing their stories and values and was personal rather than corporate.
The video was used on the careers site to give candidates a glimpse into what Jewish Care does and picture themselves working there. It was also shared across social media, driving traffic to the job opportunities available. The film touched hearts, reaching more than 1 million views and driving 28,000 clicks to the career site. Job applications rose by more than a third, showing the power of storytelling.
